Overview

The Featured Resources content area is present in the following page templates:

Level - Three Column - Wide Header
Level - Three Column - Resource Landing
Level - Two Column - Resource Landing

This content area is used to hold a list of resources that you wish to feature on a page that uses any page that uses any of the above templates. Each resource in the list can include the following information:

The name of the resource
An image associated with the resource
A brief description (single paragraph of one or two sentences) of the resource
A link to the details page for the resource on the Healthy Marriage Info site
A link to download the PDF file associted with the resource

Content Formatting

Each resource in the featured resource list is formatted using the following procedure:

The title of the resource formatted as a heading using the “Heading 5” option in the Format drop-down menu in the content editor toolbar
Press the ENTER key to start a new paragraph
Enter the description for the resource as a single paragraph of content. The description should be brief (one or two sentences) since there are links to the resource details page and/or to PDF documents associated with the resource.
Press the ENTER key to start a new paragraph
Enter the links to the resource details page and/or to PDF documents associated with the resource. Separate each link with the | character.

Refer to the Creating Links to Resource Results and Resource Details Pages for instructions on creating a link to the details page for a resource
Image or logo (optional)
1. May link the image
2. 200 pixel maximum
3. Should be in a separate paragraph

1. The Heading 3 may be formatted as a link
2. Links may be placed within the paragraph of content

1st Column Callout (White)

Content Formatting
- Begin with a heading using the “Heading 3” option in the Format drop-down menu
- Enter a single paragraph of content
- Include a link to additional information (on or offsite link)
- Image or logo (optional)
  - May link the image
  - 240 pixel maximum
  - Should be in a separate paragraph
Additional Formatting Options
- The Heading 3 may be formatted as a link
- Links may be placed within the paragraph of content

3rd Column Callout (Brown)

Content Formatting
- Begin with a heading using the “Heading 3” option in the Format drop-down menu
- Follow with content formatted in paragraphs
- Image or logo (optional)
  - 200 pixel maximum width

Content Image and Caption in "Level 3 Column – Wide Header" Template

Overview
- Enables an image and caption to be placed within the Main Content area of a page
- Positions the image to the right and wraps content around it
Content Formatting
- Image
  - Image should be no wider than 300 pixels
  - Larger images may be used and then resized in the Insert Image dialog to 300 pixels wide
  - Insert only the image into the content editor
  - Do not align the image
- Caption
  - Enter text only
  - Do not enter HTML markup
  - No limit to caption text length
  - Caption will wrap to multiple lines below the image
  - Try to keep captions brief

3rd Column Content Image and Caption in "Level 3 Column – Related Resources" Template

Overview
- Enables an image and caption to be placed within the 3^rd (right) column of a page
- Positions the image in the center of the column and displays a caption below it
Content Formatting
- Image
  - Image should be no wider than 240 pixels
  - Larger images may be used and then resized in the Insert Image dialog to 240 pixels wide
  - Insert only the image into the content editor
  - Do not align the image
- Caption
  - Enter text only
  - Do not enter HTML markup
  - No limit to caption text length
  - Caption will wrap to multiple lines below the image
  - Try to keep captions brief

About The National Healthy Marriage Resource Center

The National Healthy Marriage Resource Center (NHMRC) is a clearinghouse for high quality, balanced, and timely information and resources on healthy marriage. The NHMRC's mission is to be a first stop for information, resources, and training on healthy marriage for experts, researchers, policymakers, media, marriage educators, couples and individuals, program providers, and others.

With support from the Administration for Children and Families' Office of Family Assistance, Annie E. Casey Foundation, Johnson Foundation, Kohler Foundation, the WinShape Foundation, and others, the NHMRC helps those who want to learn more about healthy relationships, marriage, and marriage education.

NHMRC's Main Activities

Strategic Communications and Outreach

Building awareness: Highlighting the benefits of marriage and marriage education and encouraging healthy marriage through a national network of partners and experts, using a variety of mediums, technology, and media.

Clearinghouse and Web site: Creating a dynamic, comprehensive clearinghouse and Web site to provide high quality, balanced, and timely information on healthy marriage-related topics to those who interact with marriage on a professional basis.

National media campaign: Implementing a national media effort aimed at 18-30 year olds designed to launch a conversation about marriage.

Consumer-based Web site: Providing information to individuals and couples about healthy relationships and marriage on a cutting-edge, interactive site.

Resource Development: Developing cutting-edge healthy marriage resource materials.

Training and Technical Assistance: Providing nationwide, group-based training and technical assistance from the field's leading experts on healthy marriage-related topics, using the latest tactics and technology.
