In 2004, 14 million people in the United States reported having an Asian heritage, making up percent of the U.S. population. Given this large and growing population, Asian American marriage is an important topic. This fact sheet contains answers to some common questions about Asian Americans and marriage, using findings from scientifically sound research. Research doesn't have all the answers, and more research on this topic is needed. Nonetheless, the research that has been done can shed a great deal of light on many questions.(Author abstract modified)
