Two are Stronger than One
Researchers from Indiana University analyzed data on 3.8 million people diagnosed with cancer between 1973 and 2004. This study looked at 5 and 10-year survival rates for the following groups: married, widowed, divorced, never-married, and those going through a separation at the time of diagnosis. Married people, more than any other relationship status, have the highest likelihood of survival when fighting cancer.
