Designed for Cooperative Extension System (CES) educators, this resource packet contains materials for promoting marriage and couples workshops and training sessions. Information is provided on marriage and couples’ education as a community priority and suggested roles for extension educators in marriage and couples’ education, including providing direct education, serving as a community catalyst, and promoting public awareness of marriage and couple issues. Part 1 then provides news releases and public service announcements for extension professionals to use within their individual community settings to promote classes, Part 2 provides information on other resources, such as finding a marriage or couples’ education class and additional materials, Part 3 provides a selected bibliography of resources on marriage and family relationships, and Part 4 contains a feedback form on the usefulness of the resource packet.
