Developing Domestic Violence Protocols is the third in a series of 5 related Guides developed for relationship and marriage educators and program administrators to help them understand and respond to domestic violence issues that may arise within their programs. The purpose of this guide is to assist healthy marriage and relationship (HMR) programs and initiatives in developing a domestic violence protocol that articulates, in writing, a program’s site-specific plan for identifying and responding to domestic violence issues in a thoughtful, effective and consistent manner.
