Through a developmentally sound and scientifically researched curriculum, the Best Friends Foundation provides a positive peer group for high school Diamond Girl and Best Men Leadership students which raises aspirations, promotes academic achievement, enhances character development and encourages participants to reject risk behaviors that are destructive to positive relationships. The following curriculum topics are taught:  Healthy Relationships; Marriage, The Best Choice for the Best Future; HIV/AIDS and STDs; Substance Abuse; Dating Violence; and Financial Planning for the Future. In an effort to promote the importance of healthy relationships the Foundation hosts a two-day Healthy Marriage Youth Leadership Summit in Washington, DC.

Wedded Bliss is a community-based organization dedicated to helping families develop healthy relationships and healthy marriages to improve their lives, better the outcomes for children and create stronger communities. We accomplish this in many different ways. Our signature program is Black Marriage Day, the fourth Sunday in March every year. Wedded Bliss Foundation has programs for singles, couples and teens using a series of curricula developed by Nisa Muhammad and Dr. Rozario Slack called Basic Training. It includes Basic Training for Couples, Basic Training for Singles, Basic Training for Men and Basic Training for Women.

To have your program or organization considered for addition to the list, send an e-mail to info@healthymarriageinfo.org.
