NCFMR has released the Married and Cohabiting Couples pilot data via the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). The data were collected between July and October 2010 by teams of researchers from across the country. The NCFMR contracted with the large, web-based household survey Knowledge Networks panel to provide the research teams with an opportunity to field test new items exploring innovative measures that will help to answer new research questions on married and cohabiting relationships. The data provide researchers with a unique opportunity to examine both married and cohabiting couple relationships from the perspectives of both spouses/partners.
