By age 25, 44% of women in the U.S. have a baby; 38% of them are married, according to data in Knot Yet: The Benefits and Costs of Delayed Marriage in America, a new report from the National Marriage Project at the University of Virginia, the RELATE Institute, and the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. The report examines the causes and consequences of delayed marriage.
On Wednesday, March 20 the Center on Children and Families at the Brookings Institution will host a discussion about the report.
